This picture takes place during the summer of the bombing in Oklahoma City. The Medicine men got together and asked for a blessing for all of the United States.. After they had finished, many say they saw the clouds form the shape of an eagle and from the clouds came eagles. They believe that the Eagle is the Great Spirit’s messenger. The reason it is called, Calling of the Morning Blessing, the tee pees are facing East, and the first light comes into the teepee and blesses their homes. The lightning from the clouds represents the Great Spirit speaking to them.
