This picture is located in the National Forest just south of Sitka, Alaska. This picture was painted in memory of over 300 wolves that were killed around Juno and Sitka, AK in order to make more game available for hunters. The following year, 500 wolves were killed around Anchorage, AK for the same reason. In this picture, you will find the bear wolf and beaver totems. The one totem lying down is the wolf totem and it tells us that, as the totems are disappearing, so are the wolves. You will see the ghost wolf in the background.
The qualities of this picture are that it has a lot of depth. There are three planes of view and the lines on the right take you back into the picture.
